ABOUT ME

My therapy style is curious, thoughtful, and non-judgmental.

I often support individuals who feel stuck in cycles of rumination and worry, helping them gain greater control over challenging thoughts and emotions. Together, we build a toolbox of skills to navigate stressors and create meaningful change. I strive to help clients recognize and reframe negative thought patterns, accept what is beyond their control, and commit to values-driven actions that improve their quality of life.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Mindfulness. These approaches allow us to work collaboratively on understanding and managing your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, fostering a sense of empowerment and well-being. I believe in the power of humor as a therapeutic tool, bringing warmth and authenticity to our work together. By incorporating lighthearted moments, I aim to create a comfortable space where you feel safe to explore your challenges.

With a Master’s in Social Work from the Columbia School of Social Work and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Wesleyan University, I bring a robust educational foundation and practical expertise to our sessions. Prior to starting my private practice, I worked as a therapist at two employee assistance programs, providing support to diverse populations. My background includes working with municipal employees in NYC, where I addressed a wide range of personal and professional challenges. Additionally, I have supported employees in the tech and finance sectors, helping them navigate the unique stresses and demands of these high-paced environments. This blend of experience allows me to offer tailored therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of my clients effectively.
